Cautions
Use cautiously if allergic to other members of the daisy family, including ragweed, aster, and chrysanthemum, Have fair skin and enjoy exposure to strong sunlight, Pregnant, Taking MAO inhibitor antidepressants, Taking sedative or sleeping medications.
There is some scientific evidence that St. John's wort may help treat mild depression, and the benefit seems similar to that of antidepressants. Don't combine St John's wort and prescription antidepressants such as SSRIs. That can cause a problem of too much serotonin, called serotonin syndrome. You may have to wait a period of time before you start St. John's wort even if you and your doctor decide to stop taking an antidepressant. (Don't stop taking an antidepressant on your own.)

Do your teas have caffeine?
Our Leisure and Protected teas are herbal teas or "tisanes", and are caffeine free!
Our Boss tea has a medium caffeine level, derived from the Green Yerba Mate. The leaves of the mate tree contain 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids and abundant antioxidants. It is often said that yerba mate triumphs as the most balanced drink, offering both nutrition and an energy boost without the side effects associated with coffee (i.e., energy crashes, jitters and addiction)!
How often can I drink this tea?
You can drink Leisure as often as you'd like! Please check our cautions section to see if any limitations apply. Consistent use will improve the effectiveness of this tea.
Can I reuse sachets?
Because all of our teas are whole leaf herbal teas, you can brew multiple cups if you'd like! Repeat the brewing instructions to do so. Please note that further brews may not be as potent as your first with that sachet.
How should I store my tea?
Avoiding just five storage conditions will make a huge difference in the shelf life of your herbs. These factors are light, heat, moisture, odor and air.
1. Light
Keep your herbs in the original packaging, in a cool and dark pantry to avoid light.
2. Heat
Avoid placing it in the sun or near heat sources, like a stove or oven.
3. Moisture
Dried plants are shelf stable but absorb water from the air very easily. Until they are ready to brew, keep it away from boiling water and other humid areas, like above a dishwasher vent or in a refrigerator.
4. Odor
Common odors are something that herbs can absorb very easily. By leaving the herbs in their original packaging or placing them in an air-tight container of your choosing, you will reduce the chance of changing the natural flavor of the herbs.
5. Air
The more exposure to air increases the chances that your herbs will absorb moisture and odors. Avoid leaving your herbs out by sealing them in the original packaging or an air-tight container of your choosing.
